Participants will use state-of-art astronomy software to make images come alive. By completing hands-on experiments, collections of photons will allow for the simulation of the workings of the telescope. In addition, students will study artists who used space as inspiration for their own artmaking. The final class will meet at the Springfield Museum of Art to create an exhibit to showcase their work.
